Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this week’s theme is Best Books I’ve Read in 2018. I’m up to 173 books on my Goodreads challenge for this year, so it took a long time to cut my favourites down to just ten, but I did it after a lot of deliberating and quite a few Orange Lindors. I’m not counting any re-reads in this post, as that will be a separate list.
My Top Ten Books of 2018 (so far):
- I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman
- Scythe by Neal Shusterman
- The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
- Beauty Queens by Libba Bray
- Dear Martin by Nic Stone
- Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
- We Are Young by Cat Clarke
- American Panda by Gloria Chao
- The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R. Pan
- Clean by Juno Dawson
Those are my choices for today, but my favourites are currently changing on a daily basis, so if you asked me tomorrow, you’d probably get a different answer.
Which books are your favourites of 2018 so far? Let me know in the comments and you can check out which books are up next for my reading list here, which could completely change the list.
I just finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and it was AMAZING. By far the best book I’ve read this year. Maybe one of the best books I’ve ever read!! A lot of you books are on my TBR and I’m excited to get to them.

I’ve heard great things about Seven Husbands, so I’ll have to check that out soon. Glad to help you grow your TBR and they’re all such great reads.

Thanks for responding and have you found any new books to add to your TBR?
