#SixForSunday is a weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But a Lot in which we’re encouraged to share 6 books or book-related opinions on a theme.
I’m changing the prompt for today to my favourite retellings of the year, to keep in with my current themes and because I really think it’s been a big thing in the last couple of years. I really love it when authors put a new spin on classic tales!
Six Superb Retellings of 2018:
1. Flame In The Mist by Renée Ahdieh
2. The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill
3. A Thousand Beginnings and Endings
4. Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust
5. Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J Maas
6. Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C Dao (which you can see my gushing review of)
Over To You:
What are some of your favourite re-tellings you’ve read in 2018?
I haven’t read The Surface Breaks by Louise O’Neill yet, but I love her other books so much, so I’m really excited to get round to reading it (My TBR pile is very big so I’m tackling it slowly haha!) x

Sorry to add to the massive tbr pile, but it’s as feminist, dark and interesting as her others, at least I think so! I hope you enjoy it.
