#SixForSunday is a weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But a Lot in which we’re encouraged to share 6 books or book-related opinions on a theme. This week’s theme is Favourite LGBT+ Characters and I’m going to choose characters that haven’t got as much hype as say Simon from Simon v.s. the Homo Sapiens Agenda or Jesper/Wylan from the Six of Crows duology.
I am such a character-driven reader, so all of these characters were so memorable and challenge stereotypes around their sexuality.
- Ramona Blue
- Ling and Henry from the Diviners series
- Sadie
- Jimmy from I Was Born For This
- Lei from Girls of Paper and Fire
- Charlie from Queens of Geek
This post is awesome! I’ve been wanting to read some Alice Osman for a while now and Queens of Geek looks awesome!

Thank you! Alice Oseman is such a good writer; I would highly recommend all her books. Queens of Geek is such a nice contemporary, with great representation and discussion of issues. Hope you enjoy them!

I’ve just read Solitaire and loved it, so I’d love to pick up I Was Born For This soon 🙂 I also have been putting off Ramona Blue for too long, maybe this will be my push to get to it! 🙂

I really hope you enjoy them! Solitaire is so good, but IWBFT is probably my favourite book from Alice.
