Last month, I took on the Hogwarts-A-Thon and managed to beat my TBR! I manged to review at least one book a week and keep some semi-regular features, whilst reading a grand total of 18 books.

Yet again, I’m on a book-buying ban that I broke twice to get D.O.G.S, as I loved it so much. This is because I’m going to Foyles on my birthday and am definitely going to buy far too many books, if my last trip is any indication.
The only exceptions to the ban are book box subscriptions and pre-orders. In September, I did get both the Fairyloot and Illumicrate boxes, but I haven’t featured them here, so there’s no spoilers. I had pre-ordered The Deathless Girls, Five Dark Fates and The Places I Cried in Public, which turned up super early! I won a copy of The Good Luck Girls via Readers First and the lovely India from Atom Books sent me a copy of The Boy & Girl Who Broke The World.
However the standout of the month is definitely my stunning ARC of Girls of Storm and Shadow that the amazing Nawa sent me because I’m a huge fan (I am eternally grateful). It came at the perfect time, because I’m co-hosting the official readalong of Girls of Paper and Fire with Sasha in collaboration with Hodderscope.
