November was another tumultuous and hectic month for me personally, though I still managed to complete my TBR! In total, I read 15 books, though my review game this month was a bit weaker. My haul is up until the 28th November, as today is my birthday, so I’m probably going to treat myself to some new books when I visit Foyles!

Haul:

Despite my ongoing book-buying ban, some very lovely publishers have still gifted me some amazing books this month!
The wonderful Becci from Hachette Children’s Group (Team BKMRK) sent me Love, Secret Santa, which sounds like the perfect Christmassy romance to get me in the festive mood (check out my review in the blog tour next month!) and Break The Fall, which I have wanted to read since I first heard about it at YALC. The sampler instantly hooked me with Audrey’s voice and I knew I wanted to read more.
Incredibly, the lovely Stephanie from Atom Books sent me an ARC of What Kind of Girl, which sounds like an amazing Moxie-esque look about abuse and teenage girls rallying together in a thought-provoking story.
The generosity hasn’t stopped as the phenomenal Olivia from Simon & Schuster sent me an ARC of And The Stars Were Burning Brightly, which looks like it’ll be an incredibly poignant and relevant book that I’m really excited to read.
Finally, I got a surprise in the post yesterday from the amazing Amber at My Kinda Book, who sent me a finished copy of Children of Virtue and Vengeance. I am so excited to continue Zélie and Amari’s journey and to discover what twists and turns Adeymi has in store for me this time around!
