In December, I read 23 books and completed my TBR. You can check out my thoughts on some of my recent reads here. I took a slight break from blogging to recharge, relax and get reading – so I’m looking forward to what 2024 brings and have some excellent reads on the horizon!

Haul:

I recieved some lovely review copies this month! Thank you to Bloomsbury Children’s UK for sending me this glow in the dark proof of Sleep Like Death by Kalynn Bayron and to Rachel Quin and Electric Monkey for sending me Didn’t See That Coming by Jesse Q. Sutanto. Also a huge thank you to Graeme Williams and Firefly Press for sending me a proof of Lie or Die by A. J. Clack, which I was so intrigued by at YALC.

I also want to especially spotlight Sphere Books for sending me a proof of I Promise It Won’t Always Hurt Like This by Clare Mackintosh.

For Christmas, I recieved Inside No 9: The Scripts Series 4-6 by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, having bought myself Series 1-3 earlier on in the month! I also got a paperback copy of To Break a Covenant by Alison Ames, the stunning Puffin Classics edition of Dracula by Bram Stoker and Murdle by G.T. Karber.

Also, my preorder of Heartstopper Volume Five by Alice Oseman arrived and I picked up Girl A by Abigail Dean.
