March 2024 Wrap-Up and Haul

March was another lovely and very busy month for me – including some amazing events! I read 24 books and completed my TBR. You can check out my thoughts on many of my recent reads here.

Haul:

The fantastic team at Scholastic really treated me this month, sending me Hyo The Hellmaker by Mina Ikemoto Ghosh, The Virtue Season by L M Nathan, These Stolen Lives by Sharada Keats and The Traitor in the Game by Triona Campbell. Over at Usborne, I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch party for Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé, where they gave us an ARC of Four Eids and a Funeral by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé and Adiba Jaigirdar. Walker YA also sent me Louder Than Hunger by John Schu and I got an unexpected treat from Macmillan, who sent me a lovely package for Children of Anguish and Anarchy by Tomi Adeyemi.

Meanwhile, my adult thriller obsession was fed when Viking Books sent me The Guests by Nikki Smith and I Died on a Tuesday by Jane Corry. I also treated myself to a packed Bay Tales tote bag, which contained: Day’s End by Garry Disher, Blood Runs Cold by Neil Lancaster, The Box by Dan Malakin and Killing Moon by Jo Nesbo.

Finally my preorders of the special edition of Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson and the paperback of Eyes, Guts, Throat, Bones by Moira Fowley arrived. I was also gifted Past Lying by Val McDermid!
