October 2024 Wrap-Up and Haul

It’s that time again! October was a fantastic month for me personally, with some standout theatre trips and as always, plenty of good books. As always, thank you very much to the brilliant publishers who are kind enough to send me some fantastic books. Last month I read 22 books, completing my TBR. You can check out my thoughts on most of these in my Recent Reads recap here.

I was absolutely spoilt again this month with many brilliant books! Nina Douglas and Simon & Schuster Children’s UK sent me The Wycherleys by Annalise Avery. I took part in my first Tandem Collection readalong for William by Mason Coile, so thank you to Tandem & John Murray Press for sending me a copy. Also, Beth Wright at Little Brown sent me A Lively Midwinter Murder by Katy Watson.

Tina Mories at Scholastic sent me Red Flags by Sophie Jo and Phantom Hearts by Rosie Talbot & Sarah Maxwell, while Samuel Bonner at Penguin Random House International sent me The Dark Becomes Her by Judy I. Lin. Del Rey UK surprised me with a copy of Best Hex Ever by Nadia El-Fassi & Yasmin Anshoor at Penguin Michael Joseph sent me The Hitchcock Hotel by Stephanie Wrobel.

Finally, I bought myself a physical copy of How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin after loving it earlier this year and Feeding the Monster by Anna Bogutskaya after being influenced by Justine (@ishouldreadthat).
