I have had a rather nice start to the year, with a lovely trip away and a very fun event. I have also been lucky enough to receive some amazing books, which I will discuss more later in this post. In January, I read 23 books, completing my TBR and you can check out my thoughts on most of them here.

Haul:

I have been treated so well this month! Eleanor Stammeijer at Zaffre Books sent me A Novel Murder by E. C. Nevin, while Kiran Khanom at Scholastic sent me A Game of Scandal by Laura Wood and Transworld sent me Burn After Reading by Catherine Ryan Howard.
In addition to this, I was surprised by Little Island Books with A Fix of Light by Kel Menton and by Electric Monkey with The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith. Usborne unexpectedly sent me Shrapnel Boys by Jenny Pearson. Also, Simon and Schuster surprised me with ‘Til Death by Busayo Matuluko, which I was also lucky enough to celebrate at a wonderful cake-decorating event with Cookie Girl.
Finally, my pre-order of Rabbit Hole by Kate Brody arrived.
