April 2025 Haul and Wrap-Up

April comes to an end today in glorious sunshine in the UK! This was another great reading month for me as I read 28 books in total, including all of my monthly TBR. You can check out my thoughts on most of these here.

Haul:

Electric Monkey surprised me with a proof of Lady’s Knight by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, while Nina Douglas and Penguin Random House Children’s sent me a lovely package for Run Away With Me by J. L. Simmonds. Thank you to Graeme Williams and UCLAN Publishing for sending me Exit Stage Death by Ava Eldred.

For the first time in forever I decided to treat myself and buy some new books with a mix of the HarperCollins sale, my existing Waterstones Plus balance and a couple of treats from Blackwells. I ordered myself Ring Shout by P. Djèlí Clark, Murder Between Friends by Liz Lawson, You Belong to Me by Hayley Krischer, Under This Red Rock by Mindy McGinnis, This is Not a Dead Girl Story by Kate Sweeney and The Hysterical Girls of St Bernadette’s by Hanna Alkaf.
