December 2023 TBR

Today I’m setting out my TBR for December and it's a real mix of genres and styles! With the holiday period approaching, I'm looking forward to losing myself in a good book or two and these upcoming 2024 releases have my high expectations behind them. From fantasies to mysteries with a sprinkle of literary and Gothic fiction, I am very excited to see how these pan out.

Mini Review Monday #129

It's time for my final Mini Review Monday of November! Today, I'm delving into two excellent mysteries coming out in January 2024: The Dinner Party by Rebecca Heath and The Mystery Guest by Nita Prose.

Review: Gorgeous Gruesome Faces

Today, I'm super excited to be reviewing Gorgeous Gruesome Faces by Linda Cheng. From just the comparison titles for this book, I was hooked. “Yellowjackets meets She Is a Haunting” - what more could you possibly ask for? Then that stunning cover burst onto the scene and I knew I needed this book in my life.

Review: The Meadows

Today, I'm reviewing The Meadows by Stephanie Oakes. This was one of those books that leaves an ache deep in your bones and your heart. How you cope with that ache is up to you, but hopefully it spurs you to act in the defence of love.
