I saw this readathon, which is created and hosted by Kate from Reading Through Infinity and felt like giving myself a bit of a challenge this Easter weekend. Here's the board of prompts that Kate has created and you can count one book for multiple prompts. My TBR: I am still trying to pass my O.W.L.S, so … Continue reading Easter Readathon TBR

Weekly Wrap-Up #9
It's been a while since my last Weekly Wrap-Up, but I'm making up for it today by briefly reviewing all the books I've read in the past two weeks. 1. The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas 💙 This was tense, taunt and heavily atmospheric. Compulsively readable with a great, flawed and intelligent protagonist. I found that I … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #9
Let’s Talk YA
A while ago, the lovely Emma from Never Judge A Book By It's Cover and I shared some mutal fangirling over Enchantee on Twitter and this sparked a conversation about how we often just like and retweet bookish comments, istead of engaging. Eventually, this lead to the creation of a brand new feature that Emma and I are co-hosting, where we share a book, preferably UKYA, that's under-rated and try to start a conversation about it.
O.W.L.S/April TBR
As always, this will be a working document that I will update throughout the month to track my progress. This month, I am also taking my O.W.L.S! The Magical Readathon was created by the amazing Book Roast and you can see her announcement video over at O.W.L.’s Magical Readathon 2019 Announcement. The task is to read … Continue reading O.W.L.S/April TBR

Weekly Wrap-Up #8
This is my final wrap-up of the month, which is why this is slightly late, so my Monthly Wrap Up can contain all the books I've read. This week I read 4 books, but what did I think of them?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Evelyn Hugo stole my heart. This is the epitome of sucking you into a story. I got lost in the world of 50s Hollywood: the glitz, the glamour and the seedy, dark underbelly of it all.
March Haul
Today, I'm having a celebratory post of the books I've gathered this month, but I am aware of my privilege in being able to buy some books. I get the vast majority of my books form the library, which is why it's nice to sometimes be able to splash out and get some treats for … Continue reading March Haul
Weekly Wrap Up #7
I'm really enjoying this as a regular feature, as it allows me to discuss all my bookish thoughts, without turning it into a ginormous wrap-up post. So, today, I'll be reviewing all the books I've read since last Saturday, as I try to get these back on schedule. 1. Proud (anthology) 🏳️🌈⭐️💙 This was such a … Continue reading Weekly Wrap Up #7
Mini Review Monday #6
It's the return of 'Mini Review Monday', where today I'll be fulfilling some of my promised reviews with three stunning books. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo: Nikolai Lantsov has always had a gift for the impossible. No one knows what he endured in his country’s bloody civil war—and he intends to keep it that … Continue reading Mini Review Monday #6
