I introduced this idea on Monday, but I meant for this to be a weekly feature when I briefly review the books I've read from Friday to Friday. I'm trying to be more organised and stick to my schedule this time, so today I'm sharing all the books I've read since 8th February. 1. The … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #2

Weekly Wrap-Up #1
As my monthly wrap ups can get quite long, as shown with my one from January, I've decided to share a weekly wrap up of the books I've read that week (from Friday to Friday, yep this post is late) instead! 1. Toil & Trouble 🏳️🌈 ⭐️ 💙 I have a love/hate relationship with anthologies … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #1
Six For Sunday: Best LGBT+ Characters
#SixForSunday is a weekly prompt hosted by Steph at A Little But a Lot in which we’re encouraged to share 6 books or book-related opinions on a theme. This week's theme is Favourite LGBT+ Characters and I'm going to choose characters that haven't got as much hype as say Simon from Simon v.s. the Homo Sapiens Agenda or Jesper/Wylan from the Six of Crows duology. I am such a character-driven reader, so all of these characters were so memorable and challenge stereotypes around their sexuality.
Anger Is A Gift Review
Today, I'm sharing my review of an emotional, unforgettable firecracker of a book that I want everyone to read. Anger Is A Gift Review: Trigger Warnings: police violence/brutality (often graphic and intense scenes) panic attacks death violence (often graphic and intense scenes) racism ableism racial profiling Six years ago, Moss Jefferies' father was murdered by an … Continue reading Anger Is A Gift Review

February TBR
In addition to my TBR for #FFFebruaryReads, I've got some more books I'd like to read this month. Also, back in January, I said that every TBR will include at least one book for the Beat the Backlist Challenge (check out my TBR for that here). The Light Between Worlds by Laura Weymouth … Continue reading February TBR
January Wrap-Up
Today I wanted to share all the books I read in January and my thoughts on them in 50 words or less. I'm also continuing my system of symbols to denote the diversity of books (which I introduced in my December Wrap-Up) with ⭐️ to represent BAME characters/authors, 🏳️🌈 for LGBT+ authors/characters and 💙 for disabled/mental … Continue reading January Wrap-Up
New To My TBR
Today, I'm participating in another Top Ten Tuesday, which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this week's prompt is Ten Most Recent Additions to my TBR. I'm not going to include any sequels, otherwise I'd be including the untitled sequel to Girls of Paper and Fire, which is out later this year! Hot Dog Girl … Continue reading New To My TBR
TBR for #FFFebruaryReads
I've recently found this amazing reading challenge for February (full details here), so of course, I'd love to take part! I'm aiming to get at least one bingo from this grid as well, so I'll update this page as I complete each book, with ✅ meaning I've completed it. My TBR: Toil & … Continue reading TBR for #FFFebruaryReads
January Haul
I know it's not quite the end of January yet, but I highly doubt I'll be getting any more books between now and Friday! I want to continue doing my hauls as monthly posts (check out my one for November/December) and introduce Library Hauls to show just how often I use my local library. Anyway, … Continue reading January Haul
