As ever, today I will be briefly reviewing all the books I’ve read since my last post in approximately fifty words. I want to write a full review of some of these books in the future, so I’ll just have a quick thought with the full review to come.

Review: The Lost Girls

Today, I’m reviewing The Lost Girls by Sonia Hartl. This is an absorbing and alluring tale that explores female rage, solidarity and friendship. Hartl has crafted a darkly comic sapphic vampire romance will make you fall in love. This is the type of book you just have to devour.

Review: Dangerous Play

Today, I’m reviewing Dangerous Play by Emma Kress. This is is a powerful and extremly evocative novel that tackles rape culture, harassment and sexism. It is the type of book you just want to press into everyone’s hands and get them to read immediately. 

Blog Tour: Wicked Little Deeds

Today, I’m really excited to be reviewing the thrilling Wicked Little Deeds by Kat Ellis. Thank you so much to Penguin and The Write Reads for allowing me to be a part of the blog tour. Wicked Little Deeds is the type of book that casts a shadow over you as you become entranced by its darkly compelling pages. Reading it feels like the foreboding dark clouds rolling over the sky with its intense atmosphere.

Review: As Good As Dead

On its publication date, I am thrilled to be reviewing As Good As Dead by Holly Jackson. This is a stunning conclusion to one of the strongest YA mystery series out there. You heard it here first, Holly Jackson is an evil genius. 

August 2021 TBR

Yet again, I'm setting out a TBR for the month and I'm hoping to power through all of these books. Many of these were generously gifted by various lovely publishers and, as always, I’d love to buddy read any.
