As ever, today I will be briefly reviewing all the books I’ve read since my last post in approximately fifty words. This post also explains my concept of ‘The Chosen Ones’ to highlight my favourite books in each post. Review: What Beauty There Is
Today, I'm really excited to be taking part in the blog tour for What Beauty There Is by Cory Anderson. Thank you so much to The Write Reads and Penguin for inviting me to take part. An exhilarating, emotionally powerful and superbly written thriller that's Winter's Bone meets The RoadWinter. The sky is dark. It is cold enough … Continue reading Review: What Beauty There Is
Review: Lost in the Never Woods
I really loved Aiden’s debut Cemetery Boys and so was instantly intrigued to see how he would tackle the classic tale of Peter Pan, one that we all know and love. From the excerpt I read via a Netgalley sampler, I was hooked by Wendy’s voice and the promise of a deep delve into the effects of trauma through a compelling mystery. Aiden’s trademark distinctive characters were stronger than ever for me. Luckily for me, the amazing Kelsey Marrujo at Macmillan granted my request for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Review: The Last Girl
This sounded like the perfect thrilling and chilling read, a wild ride that would pull me into the dark depths of a classic horror film.
