This is a of a bit later than planned post, which briefly reviews all the books I read in April since my last Weekly Wrap-Up. The overall month wrap-up would also be going up today and I'm hoping to fulfil some of my review promises soon. 1. Deadpool v.s. Shield This was a fun, quick and brilliant … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #11

Weekly Wrap-Up #10
This has been one of my most productive reading weeks ever, with the gorgeous weather helping me just sit and relax with a good book. I've read a fair bit since last week, so I'll be keeping the reviews brief today, as I'm planning to do full reviews of my favourites soon. 1. Beauty Sleep by … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #10
Let’s Talk YA #2
Last week, the lovely Emma from Never Judge A Book By Its Cover and I launched Let's Talk YA and my first pick was the Beautiful Broken Things duology by Sara Banard. This is going to be a regular feature on my blog and I'm aiming to run it weekly, so today I've chosen the gritty, raw … Continue reading Let’s Talk YA #2
Weekly Wrap-Up #9
It's been a while since my last Weekly Wrap-Up, but I'm making up for it today by briefly reviewing all the books I've read in the past two weeks. 1. The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas 💙 This was tense, taunt and heavily atmospheric. Compulsively readable with a great, flawed and intelligent protagonist. I found that I … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #9
Let’s Talk YA
A while ago, the lovely Emma from Never Judge A Book By It's Cover and I shared some mutal fangirling over Enchantee on Twitter and this sparked a conversation about how we often just like and retweet bookish comments, istead of engaging. Eventually, this lead to the creation of a brand new feature that Emma and I are co-hosting, where we share a book, preferably UKYA, that's under-rated and try to start a conversation about it.
Weekly Wrap-Up #8
This is my final wrap-up of the month, which is why this is slightly late, so my Monthly Wrap Up can contain all the books I've read. This week I read 4 books, but what did I think of them?
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Evelyn Hugo stole my heart. This is the epitome of sucking you into a story. I got lost in the world of 50s Hollywood: the glitz, the glamour and the seedy, dark underbelly of it all.
Weekly Wrap Up #7
I'm really enjoying this as a regular feature, as it allows me to discuss all my bookish thoughts, without turning it into a ginormous wrap-up post. So, today, I'll be reviewing all the books I've read since last Saturday, as I try to get these back on schedule. 1. Proud (anthology) 🏳️🌈⭐️💙 This was such a … Continue reading Weekly Wrap Up #7
Mini Review Monday #6
It's the return of 'Mini Review Monday', where today I'll be fulfilling some of my promised reviews with three stunning books. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo: Nikolai Lantsov has always had a gift for the impossible. No one knows what he endured in his country’s bloody civil war—and he intends to keep it that … Continue reading Mini Review Monday #6
Weekly Wrap-Up #6
I'm continuing my weekly wrap-ups with short reviews of the books I've read since last Saturday, which were all amazing. 1. Resisters by Lauren Sharkey 💙⭐️🏳️🌈 An inspiring, educational and insightful at fifty young activists who are campaigning right now to change huge issues from climate change to the period tax. An empowering and useful … Continue reading Weekly Wrap-Up #6
