With recent events, I could not be silent. On my Twitter is a range of resources and I've linked here a thread of bail funds to support protesters who are arrested for demanding justice for victims of police violence. I've also linked to the two official GoFundMes for George Floyd. I will be doing this … Continue reading June TBR

June Anticipated Releases
This year, I've decided to do something new, in addition to my monthly TBR, I want to shout about my most anticipated releases of each month and see how many of them I've read by the end of the year. For this, I've created a massive spreadsheet and have tried to keep an eye out … Continue reading June Anticipated Releases

Review: Hideous Beauty
The love for Hideous Beauty continues today with my glowing review of this brilliant book. If you missed it yesterday, I even got to fire a lot of questions at Will himself. Thank you to Usborne for allowing me to read this early via Netgalley. When Dylan and Ellis’s secret relationship is exposed on social … Continue reading Review: Hideous Beauty
Mini Review Monday #16
I'm sharing another instalment of my Mini Review Mondays, after continuing it earlier this year! In case you haven't seen any of my previous posts, I do 'mini' reviews of books that I've read, loved and usually promised to review ages ago. Today, I'm focusing on three brilliant stories that I was lucky enough to read … Continue reading Mini Review Monday #16
Let’s Talk Books #3: Date Me, Bryson Keller
If you've been following me for a while, you may remember that Emma and I cohosted a feature called Let’s Talk YA. We decided to revamp this during this world-wide pandemic to become a weekly series where we highlight books that are being published during this time that may not get the release they deserve. We will often feature a review or some other exciting bookish content. This was started last week with some awesome recent releases. Today's post highlights the wonderful The Gravity of Us by Phil Stamper.

In case you haven't seen any of my previous posts, I do 'mini' reviews of books that I've read, loved and usually promised to review ages ago. Today, I'm focusing on three brilliant stories that I was lucky enough to read early, two of which have come out recently. I'm going to start with the new contemporary novel from Sara Barnard, which has been pushed back to next year and I read early via Netgalley thanks to Macmillan.

Recent Reads #37
Last year, I renamed 'Weekly' Wrap-Ups to Recent Reads, as I feel like that reflects the timescale between posts more accurately! As ever, today I will be briefly reviewing all the books I've read since my last post in approximately fifty words. This post also explains my concept of 'The Chosen Ones' to highlight my favourite books … Continue reading Recent Reads #37
Harrow Lake
As soon as I heard about this book at last year's YALC, via Penguin's super proof of extracts, I knew I needed it in my life. The entire concept is just superb and I love a good thriller. Fortunately, the amazing Simon Armstrong at Penguin sent me an ARC in exchange for an honest review … Continue reading Harrow Lake
