April went past so quickly! I didn’t get to post as much as I wanted to, but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved this month anyway.
I managed to read 25 books this month and you can check out brief reviews/thoughts on each of them in my Weekly Wrap-Ups:

Emma from Never Judge A Book By It’s Cover and I shared some mutal fangirling over Enchantee on Twitter and this sparked a conversation about how we often just like and retweet bookish comments, which is brilliant, but we often forget to fully engage. Eventually, this lead to the creation of a brand new feature that Emma and I are co-hosting, where we share a book, preferably UKYA, that’s under-rated and try to start a conversation about it. Below, I’ve linked the first two installments, but there will be many more!
Haul:
I picked up some really lovely books and the brighter colours seem to reflect the coming season quite well!

I received Once & Future in my March Illumicrate box (my first from them and I loved it) and managed to pick up Collision, Tiny Pretty Things and Wild Beauty on a trip to Cambridge. I’d pre-ordered A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder, which turned up early (Waterstones is so good for that) and I picked up The Devouring Gray when I met up with my lovely book-club friends!
Books To Review:
- The Priory of the Orange Tree
- Summer Bird Blue
- The Devouring Gray
- The Cold Is In Her Bones
- Illuminae
- A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder
Holy shit! How did you manage to read so many books?
