Last Friday was my birthday and I got throughly spoiled by my friends and family. We got to spend a lovely day in London and go and see The Mousetrap, the Agatha Christie play that I’ve wanted to see for years. We even got to go an a surprise backstage tour and they gave me a programme signed by all the cast.

But, as always, I managed to accumulate a little stack of books along the way, officially breaking my book buying ban. I’d gone on it in order to save for Foyles, but I’m now back on it for a while.

Basically, I have the best family and friends, who gave me Spectacle and I Love You So Mochi, after I’ve been doing on about them for nearly a year.

As we got to spend some time in London, I visited Foyles and picked up Our Wayward Fate and Going Off Script, which again are books that I’ve had my eye on for forever!
