June 2026 Wrap-Up and Haul

June brought scorching heatwaves and some sensational reads! In total, I read 23 books, including my monthly TBR and my thoughts on them will be coming soon.

Haul:

Thank you to SimonYA for surprising me with Drive or Die by Alexi Cross and Dead Girls by Beck Kubrick. Zaffre kindly sent me Killer Twist by Jo Furniss, while Fox & Ink Books surprised me with Say What You Think by Rachael Fernandes and The Lost Name Society by S. R. Krish.

Walker Books sent me a gorgeous package for The Game of Oaths by S. C. Bandreddi and Constable kindly sent me Death on a Lively Sea by Katy Watson. Debbie Young was very generous and gifted me a copy of The Importance of Being Murdered.

I attended Capital Crime for the first time and in my goodie bag were copies of Dissection of a Murder by Jo Murray and I Know You by Claire McGowan. On the Saturday, I won To All The Men I’ve Killed Before by Katy Brent from HQ’s giveaway and picked up Beautiful Liars by Amanda Cassidy and Road Kill by Sabine Durrant at Century’s stand. Finally, I bought myself a copy of The List of Suspicious Things by Jennie Godfrey.

Rounding out the haul, my preorders of The Heirs by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé and Tell Your Friends by Lauren Wilson also arrived.
