My July was an amazing month with lots of exiting events in my personal life and plenty of bookish times too. In total, I read 28 books and completed my monthly TBR. You can check out my thoughts on some of these books via my Recent Reads recap here.

Haul:

Thank you to SimonYA for surprising me with 21 Days of Fear by Hervé Commère, Survival Show by Juno Dawson and The Silver Kingdom by Radiya Hafiza. Another thank you goes to Nina Douglas and Penguin Platform for surprising me I Feel Your Pain by A M Ellis. Also, Scholastic surprised me with Where Lost Girls Go by Kody Koplinger.

Thank you to Electric Monkey for sending me One Knight Stand by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner; 21 Hours of You by Darianne Schramm and The Thorn Queen by Sasha Peyton Smith.

In addition to this, I went to the Theakstons Old Peculiar Crime Festival in Harrogate again and came back with a suitcase full of books! My goodie bag had copies of Seeing Red by Damien Boyd and Tell Me Something True by Michael Robotham. I was lucky enough to attend the Pan MacMillan party again and pick up a proof of Faith’s First Case by Jeffrey Boakye.

Then at pop up events, I picked up The Golden Child by Lucinda Berry and Nobody Deserves This by Andy Callahan at Penguin Michael Joseph. I loved the entire moment for Notes on an Obsession by C. L. Taylor and was very grateful for my copy.

From Viking, I was ecstatic to pick up Almost The Whole Truth by Robin Stevens and Murder on the Royal Crescent by Harriet F. Townson. At Zaffre, I was lucky enough to receive White Smoke by Nick Brucker and Death Writ Large by Susie Dent (courtesy of a loved one’s lucky wheel spin).

Finally I picked up Peck & Peck by Bonnie Garmus from Olivia-Savannah’s unhaul and snagged Darkrooms by Rebecca Hannigan on a charity shop haul!
